If you require a doctor after 6pm, at weekends or on public holidays when the surgery is closed, please telephone the usual number (0845 – 337 – 6310). Your call will then be redirected to NHS 24

The Practice has scheduled time (2pm – 4pm) each weekday for patients wishing to enquire about Test Results. Please select the appropriate option when telephoning the practice.

Whooping cough cases increase

You may get advice from NHS 24 at any time by telephoning 08454 24 24 24.

How your call will be handled by NHS24 is described in the ‘NHS 24’ information leaflet, copies of which are available at the Health Centre. This handy leaflet includes a credit-card sized ‘pull-out’ section displaying the NHS24 telephone number, which is easy to carry in a purse or wallet, or to ‘stick on the fridge’ for easy reference.

hospital If you sustain an injury during surgery hours please (where possible) telephone the Health Centre to let us know.

A nurse will then assess your injury and, if necessary, you will be seen by a GP.

However, if the injury is not life threatening you may have to wait until a GP or a nurse becomes available, as they could already be dealing with patients or be out of the surgery making house calls.
