Strategic plan consultation

We would like to hear your views

on our draft Strategic Plan

Earlier this year we asked you about what you thought about our 5 Strategic Priorities and whether you felt that we were, broadly speaking, focussing our attention and resources in the right areas.

Our 5 Strategic Priorities are:

  • Prevention and Early Intervention
  • Reshaping Care
  • Engagement
  • Tackling Inequalities and Public Protection
  • Effective use of Resources

We have used what you told us to help shape our draft Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP) Strategic Plan which will determine how we develop our services over the next 5 years and how we, as a partnership will spend our money.

It was agreed at the August meeting of the Integration Joint Board (IJB) that the draft Strategic Plan should now come back to you for comment and consultation. This is an opportunity for you, your community and the wider public to let us know what you think of our final draft plan.

To make it as easy as possible for everyone to have their say we have created a number of ways for you to view and understand the content of the plan.

On the consultation page on our website you will find a number of resources including; the full draft Strategic Plan, a Plan on a Page which provides an easy to understand overview and a short animation which highlights how our strategic plan will guide our decision making over the next 5 years.

You can take a look at all of the resources and give us your feedback here: link and you can also take a look at the results of the engagement.

To tell us what you think please complete the short survey on the website.

This consultation is open until the 4th October.

We look forward to hearing from you.
